Bachelor Honours Degrees prepare students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional work, research and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications. This course enables students to extend their knowledge of current academic research methodology in one of the following major areas of study; Agriculture and Food Science, Chemistry, Computing, Data Science, Environmental and Marine Science, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Geophysics, Mathematical Sciences and Physics. Student learning outcomes will be demonstrated through studying units in their specialised area and the conduct of a supervised research project and presentation of an Honours dissertation.
