Diploma of Information Technology
The Diploma of Information Technology is a pathway program designed to help you transition into the Bachelor of Information Technology. You will develop foundational knowledge and skills in a supportive learning environment, setting you up for success in your future studies. You will study academic foundations courses on computer systems and networks, coding, systems development, and human-computer interaction, with additional support and access to a dedicated First Year Coordinator and (PASS) run by high-achieving students. You will also have the opportunity to undertake an elective course of your choice to tailor your studies. You will learn in purpose-built, industry-leading facilities from world-class researchers and lecturers who have sent robots into space and predicted the outcome of federal elections using big data. Industry and expert connections We have a wide range of industry contacts and partnerships that help you build your professional network. Our Industry Advisory Board, which includes members such as IBM and Suncorp, ensures that our degree is focused on what employers are looking for and provides opportunities to meet and learn from industry-leading professionals.
