A double degree combining the Bachelor of Communication and the Bachelor of Political Science and International Relations will produce media professionals with the knowledge and understanding to work effectively within local, national and international political context either as journalists, political strategists or media advisors. Through a sophisticated understanding of communication, graduates will be equipped to better navigate the complexity of the global communication network and the diverse communities and stakeholders therein. It will combine specialist training in essential aspects of contemporary media management including the production of key messages, news writing, desktop publishing and social media communication with a deep understanding of public policy making, government, political campaigning and international advocacy. Graduates will be competitive in a range of sectors including government, business and the not for profit sectors.
