This course will cover the advanced structure of the human body through a combination of core anatomy teachings, specialist surgical teachings, self-directed distance education and cadaveric dissection.
Structure
24 credit points. Course delivery is online, however, attendance at Townsville-based cadaveric dissection workshops is mandatory.

Standard entry requirements
- Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a health-related field, be an AHPRA-registered health practitioner and maintain registration for the duration of the course
- Or be a current final-year student of the JCU MBBS program with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 with enrolment approved by the Dean of College/Course Coordinator. Evidence of being immune to hepatitis B.
