JMC Academy was originally founded in Sydney to meet the demand for qualified professionals in the entertainment technology industry. JMC Academy was Australia's first private college to qualify for accreditation in the fields of Audio Engineering, Digital Television and Digital Multimedia.

JMC has been catering to the global needs of the creative industries for over 31 years by offering Degrees and Diplomas in Music, Songwriting, Audio Engineering, Film and Television Production, Entertainment Business Management, 3D Animation, Digital Design and Game Design.

The Academy has advanced-design campuses, ongoing technology upgrades, a team of academics and industry professionals and a network of international master class lecturers.

Entry requirements for JMC Academy

Year 12 completion plus ATAR or equivalent score is required for the bachelor degrees. Entry into all courses also requires an interview and an audition is an extra requirement for the Popular Music and Performance courses.

Transfering your previous study credits

JMC Academy graduates may pursue application into a master degree at leading Australian universities upon successful completion of the bachelor degree.

Description To ensure passionate prospective students have every opportunity to enhance their technical ability and pursue their talent to the highest possible level, JMC Academy offers scholarships each academic year.
Eligibility Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be able to demonstrate passion and aptitude for their chosen field of studies; have completed year 12. Applicants must also provide evidence via a portfolio or compilation of work that reflects the candidates experience and interests. Selection is based on academic merit, portfolio quality and interview. Performance students will additionally be required to audition.
