This program teaches students conference interpreting, which includes both advanced consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, providing simulated conference interpreting in a purpose-built laboratory. It offers regular self and peer analyses of interpreting work, and lets students learn from internationally renowned conference interpreters It not only enhances students' domain-specific skills but broadens their extra-linguistic knowledge.

- Australian level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent and NAATI professional accreditation as an interpreter (or overseas equivalent)
- Or Australian level 8 or 9 qualification with a minimum mark of 70 in one core advanced practical interpreting subject

This course is available for internal study in Session 1 only. This degree is only offered for interpreting between Chinese (Mandarin) and English. Japanese and Korean may be available subject to demand.
