Master of Advanced Nursing

This course, offered by Nursing and Midwifery, prepares nurses and midwives for leadership roles in management, education, disaster management and leadership, trauma nursing and advanced midwifery.   • An Australian bachelor degree or graduate diploma (or equivalent) in Midwifery with at least a credit (60%) average.
  • Entry level 2: 72 points to complete Duration: 1.5 years full time, 3 years part time.
  • For Healthcare in disasters, Advanced nursing studies, Education in healthcare, Leadership and management in healthcare, Palliative and end of life care, Trauma nursing specialisations:
  • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Nursing with at least a credit (60%) average, and a minimum of two years of full time equivalent relevant professional experience in nursing. or
  • For Advanced midwifery specialisation:
  • An Australian bachelor degree or graduate diploma (or equivalent) in Midwifery with at least a credit (60%) average, and a minimum of two years of full time equivalent relevant professional experience in midwifery.
  • Entry level 3: 48 points to complete Duration: 1.0 years full time, 2 years part time.
  • For Healthcare in disasters, Advanced nursing studies, Education in healthcare, Leadership and management in healthcare, Palliative and end of life care, Trauma nursing specialisations:
  • An Australian bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in Nursing with at least a credit (60%) average. or
