Master of Global Medicines Development

Master of Global Medicines Development is a unique degree jointly offered by two of the highest-ranked schools in pharmacy and pharmacology in the world. Together, Monash University’s Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will deliver this program, designed for students who aspire to leadership, coordination or administrative roles within a global medicines context.

Entry requirements

  • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Science, Biomedical Science or Engineering (in an appropriate discipline e.g. Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Biomedical or Materials) with at least a credit (60%) average.
  • This course is open to both domestic and international students. International student are also required to meet English language requirements: Monash Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0)
  • or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50
  • or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18
  • or Equivalent approved English test
