Throughout this five-day scaffolding safety course, you’ll learn the skills required to erect, alter and dismantle modular or prefabricated scaffolding to any height. Plus, you’ll also find out how to carefully install and dismantle cantilevered material hoists (up to 500kg), gin wheels, safety nets, static lines and mobile scaffolds.To complete this scaffolding safety course, you’ll take part in both practical and theoretical training sessions, including written assessments and scaffolding equipment calculations.Learn the following basic scaffolding skills:- Plan, erect and dismantle scaffolding- Set up fall arrest systems, including safety nets- Interpret basic scaffolding plans- Verify equipment faults and respond appropriately- Understand types of scaffolding equipment- Understand load capabilities- Maintenance requirementsUpon succesful completion of this course, participants who are deemed competent will be eligible to obtain their WorkSafe High-risk Licence for basic scaffolding (SB).

Duration - 5 daysAssessment Method - As per WorkSafe requirements the licence assessment encompasses a knowledge, performance and calculations assessment.
