Structure
17 units - 10 core and 7 electives. Course delivered face to face using flexible learning and assessment methods, classroom work and group discussions, Offsite manual handling training, Return to Study class and Study Support available. Work placement and assessment in an aged care facility or particular disability service. Online resources including course timetables and assessment materials. Pathways and Career information offered
Entry requirements
- There are no pre-requisite requirements for individual units of competency. North Ringwood Community House has set the following entry requirements for enrolment in this course: •An interview is required prior to enrolment• Suitable level of language, literacy and numeracy• Victorian Police Check• Ability to commit to 120 hours of practical placement
