Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication) / Bachelor of Nutrition Science
This program allows students to examine innovative ways to promote healthy lifestyle choices and prevent diet-related disease through use of communication. Health professionals with superior communication skills and ability to use the power of media technologies will make significant contributions to improving the quality of life, both locally and internationally. After introductory studies in human anatomy, health science, and communication, students will complete units that explore health education and behaviour, exercise and sports nutrition, and all facets of media including social platforms, mythbusting, and globalisation. During final year, students can complete a professional placement in industry or complete a project that will refine their skills in development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
