Become an Accounting and Business Information Technology specialist with a Bachelor of Accounting and Business Information Technology (Professional). Structure
To qualify for the award of Bachelor of Accounting and Business Information Technology (Professional) students must complete 400 credit points comprising of: 8 Core Units of study (100 credit points) 8 units of study in the Accounting Major (100 credit points) 8 units of study in the Business Technology Major (100 credit points) 4 units of study in the Professional Placement Co-Major (100 credit points)

Standard entry requirements
Successful completion of: the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or its equivalent, such as an interstate or international Year 12 qualification completion or partial completion of an approved tertiary qualification (including certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, associate degrees and degrees). Course Prerequisites VCE Units 3 and 4 - a minimum study score of 25 in any English (except EAL) or 30 in English as Alternate Language (EAL) or equivalent. Other requirements Prior to selection, all shortlisted candidates are required to attend a briefing session and an interview. The briefing session provides a detailed explanation of the course and is designed to ensure students enter the course with realistic expectations. Interviews are non-technical and assess the candidate's suitability for the course. Selection is based upon academic merit and interview. Recognition
The Bachelor of Accounting and Business Information Technology (Professional) is a professionally accredited course. Graduates are eligible to apply for membership of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ), the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The course also has provisional accreditation with the Australian Computer Society (ACS), with graduates additionally being eligible to apply for membership with the ACS.
