The Graduate Diploma of Project Management [Online delivery] equips professionals with the expertise to manage projects across a range of industries. This course does more than teach the fundamentals, it prepares you to manage project teams, human resources, budgets and organisational behaviour. You'll learn about project management in relation to change management, entrepreneurship, risk management, ethics and leadership. You'll graduate with the confidence, knowledge and skills to create and communicate professional project management plans. You'll also have created a pathway to a Master of Project Management.


  • To qualify for the award of Graduate Diploma of Project Management [Online delivery], students must complete eight units of study (100 credit points) comprising of: 7 core units (75 credit points)
  • 1 elective unit (12.5 credit points).

Standard entry requirements

a recognised bachelor degree in a related discipline or a recognised bachelor degree in any discipline PLUS a minimum of two years equivalent full-time relevant professional experience* or a Graduate Certificate of Project Management. English language requirements: Satisfactory completion of one of the following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%. Minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0. TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20. Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50). Any other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency.
