Graduate Diploma in Business Research Methods

Advanced research skills are highly valued in both academia and the commercial world, and the Business School is at the forefront of teaching business research methods. For your Graduate Diploma in Business Research Methods over one year full-time (or part-time equivalent), you can choose from a comprehensive range of elective courses that cover topics such as economics-based research in financial accounting, corporate finance theory, empirical methods in finance and capital markets research, and advanced marketing theory and research. You will also work among internationally recognized leaders who are finding solutions to some of the worlds most pressing business issues. Under their experienced guidance, you will learn the qualitative and quantitative research skills and scientific methods required to conduct your own research project or complete a thesis, for which you will define a research question, establish a methodology, undertake a literature review and draw conclusions.

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or the Graduate Certificate in Business Research Methods from UQ.
