A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) covers fundamental knowledge and skills in the key areas of accounting, finance, economics, quantitative analysis, information systems, and business and taxation law. It’s designed to meet the global demand for high-quality commerce graduates, providing you with the opportunity to specialise in accounting and/or finance. The course includes an industry placement as well as an opportunity to undertake a global learning experience with a partner institution. The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) consists of 24 subjects: 17 core subjects and 7 elective subjects to specialise in Accounting, Finance or both. Industry is embedded in our curriculum. You will get hands-on experience with industry-leading software used in the industry, including Xero, and you'll have the opportunity to become Xero-certified.

Structure
The Bachelor of Commerce(Accounting) consists of 24 subjects: 10 core subjects and 14 elective subjects. The elective subjects you choose will depend on whether you want to specialise in Accounting, Finance or oth.
Entry requirements
- Pass in Year 12 General Mathematics and English (or above) OR successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4 or above) OR successful completion of a Higher Education qualification.
