Master of Education (Inclusive Education)

The Master of Education (Inclusive Education) employs a design thinking approach to address challenges faced by individuals with a range of additional learning needs. It emphasises problem-solving in education, underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge and a person-centred perspective. This degree offers three distinct streams: autism, providing specialised knowledge and skills in supporting autistic individuals; mental health, delivering tailored assistance for individuals facing mental health challenges; and learning differences, equipping you to support individuals with diverse learning needs. The Master of Education (Inclusive Literacies) includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership, and social justice, providing knowledge and skills to students to be empowered to enact change in program, policy, and project design.

Structure

Delivered on campus or online, the Master of Education (Inclusive Literacies) comprises 10 core subjects and 2 electives, each subject requiring 10 hours of study per week (made up of classes and self-directed study).
