Structure
The Bachelor of Information Technology requires students to pass courses totalling 240 units, as follows: 140 units of Core courses; One major comprised of 60 units; 40 units of Electives or an Elective Pathway of your choice.

- ICT Developer, ICT Business Analyst, ICT Security Specialist.
Entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent. Alternative entry pathways may include approved TAFE studies, preparatory programs such as Newstep, Open Foundation or Tertiary Preparation Certificate. Assumed knowledge: any 2 units of English. Mathematics, while not essential, could be helpful in some majors.
Recognition
The Bachelor of Information Technology is recognised by the Australian Computer Society.
Study Pathways
A Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) is also available to meritorious students, as an additional year of full-time or equivalent part-time study.
