Diploma in Social and Human Services

You will also receive guaranteed entry into over 70 degrees and up to 80 units of credit into the Bachelor of Social Science. Upon completion, you are also eligible for competitive entry into the Bachelor of Social Work (Honours). Learn to understand and analyse the world around you while you develop practical solutions to create positive change. You will learn how you can support individuals, communities and workplaces across a broad spectrum of scenarios. Receive support from the Pathways team. You will have access to a dedicated Student Liaison Officer, a quiet workspace for study and courses with smaller sizes.

Entry requirements
- The University of Newcastle accepts a range of qualifications to determine eligibility for admission. These include, but are not limited to, Australian or overseas senior secondary qualifications (such as the HSC), prior tertiary studies, prior TAFE/VET studies, vocational/professional experience, and completed enabling programs. To be considered for admission, applicants must have an unadjusted ATAR (or equivalent) of 50 or above.
