Entry to this double degree is competitive. It offers an accelerated pathway from undergraduate to honours to postgraduate study in architecture, leading to professional accreditation or articulation into a Design PhD. Studies are based on the principles of critical thinking about design and the built environment. There is an emphasis on professionally relevant research. In addition to the studios and practical experience provided by Bachelor of Design in Architecture, theory and design-based practice is further developed through units of study exclusive to the double degree program.
