The Diploma of Language Studies is a flexible pathway program designed to offer you the opportunity to study language either alongside your undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or after you have completed undergraduate studies. This course is ideal for students who want to learn a new language or improve their existing foreign language skills. The Faculty offers classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

- To be eligible for admission, you must either: be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or combined degree program at the University of Sydney and have approval for concurrent enrolment from the Deans of the Faculties
- Or be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or combined degree program at another recognised tertiary institution
- Or have been awarded, or be eligible for the award of, an undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution.
