The course is designed as a fourth-year add-on to the Bachelor of Medical Science (Pathology). It is only available through a competitive application process to students who complete the pathology program. Entry requirements
- Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level. This course is available to students who complete the course requirements of the Bachelor of Medical Science Pathology, and demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Admission is via internal course transfer. Prospective students also submit a statement describing their interest in Laboratory Medicine and their aspirations to develop a career in this field. Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place.
