Master of Occupational Hygiene

The Master of Occupational Hygiene uses science and engineering to measure exposure to physical, chemical and biological workplace hazards, communicating these to employers and employees to promote improved working conditions and practices. Using science and engineering you will design and implement appropriate control strategies to prevent ill health caused by the working environment. This degree has a flexible delivery mode combining online course content with three to five days of on campus block-teaching sessions focused on the exploration and application of the subject material. The on campus component utilises a range of campus resources, including UOWs well-resourced occupational health and safety laboratory.
