Bachelor of Actuarial Studies/Law
This dual degree is suited to students who have keen interest in both actuarial studies and law, and want flexibility in their choice of profession. Students will gain a foundation to enter the actuarial profession, while also developing a greater understanding of the legal frameworks, processes and systems, as well as developing the technical and non-technical skills needed to pursue the role of an actuarial analyst.

Structure
Total unit requirements: 240 UOC; Law compulsory courses: 96 UOC; Law prescribed elective: 6 UOC; Law elective courses: 42 UOC; Actuarial Studies compulsory courses: 72 UOC; Actuarial Studies third year elective courses: 18 UOC; UNSW Business School Free elective - 6 UOC (Chosen from courses offered by the School of Actuarial Studies or from courses offered by another school in the UNSW Business School).
