Structure
This Cybersecurity Essentials course utilises the Cisco Network Academy 'Cybersecurity Essentials' module to help participants begin to develop an understanding of cybercrime, security principles, technologies and procedures used to defend networks, as well as start to understand critical thinking and problem solving utilising industry standard techniques and software.Participants will work through the Cisco learning resources online, attending scheduled online webinars led by a qualified CCAI instructor from VU Polytechnic.The program is delivered over thirty (30) hours and delivered online across a four (4) week period. This consists of eight (8) hours provided online via facilitated webinar and additional twenty-two (22) hours completed as self-paced learning via the training modules from Cisco NetAcademy.
