Ratings Review: The best universities for business and management

Ratings Review: The best universities for business and management

Business and management is one of the biggest and most diverse fields of study. Business specialisations cover everything from business administration and project management to entrepreneurship and international trade.

Studying business and management could see you specialising in areas such as marketing, human resources, accounting, sales, business analysis, supply chain logistics or management.

The Good Universities ratings data highlights the individual strengths of Australian universities — in this instance, we look at graduate salary, teaching quality and rates of full-time employment for undergraduate degrees. The rankings provide comparative insight to assist when choosing a course in business and management.

Graduate Salary

This rating compares the median starting salary of undergraduates from different universities. University of New England has led the way with the highest starting salary of $75,000 while Federation University students earned $74,000. Charles Darwin University scored third place with their graduates earning $71,100.

Teaching Quality

This rating looks at the proportion of undergraduate students who were satisfied with the quality of teaching they experienced. Bond University performed the highest with 90.80%, followed by The University of Notre Dame Australia with a score of 85.40%.

Full-time employment

This rating looks at the proportion of graduates who were employed full-time four months after completing their course. For employment of undergraduates, ratings revealed that Charles Sturt University took first place, with a score of 90.80%. Following close behind is University of New England who scored the second highest with an employment rate of 90.10%.
