The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is an initial teacher education course that provides graduates with the skills, knowledge and experiences necessary to positively impact student learning in the classroom. The design of this course utilises CQUniversity's three term structure, allowing students to study full time and complete the course in 1.5 years. The course is structured to include work-integrated learning as in-school practicum placements in each term of study. Graduates will be equipped with the appropriate evidence, as outlined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (Graduate Career Stage), to apply for provisional teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, the administering body in Queensland.
