To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Paramedicine, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Entry requirements

  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Paramedicine (or equivalent), or possess a formal vocational ambulance qualification which permits authority to practice at a paramedic level (i.e. diploma or higher)
  • and have a minimum of 2 years full time equivalent practice at a paramedic level within the last six years
  • and are currently employed by an Australian ambulance service, and are a registered paramedic.
  • The Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
