This degree combines the technological problem-solving ability of engineering and other STEM disciplines with the organisational, administrative and planning abilities of business and management disciplines to enable graduates to manage complex engineering driven enterprises.

Structure

Students complete eight core (compulsory) topics that include either a major or minor research project, and option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students the ability to critically analyse and evaluate information and solve complex engineering management problems, preparing them for future roles as engineering managers.

  • Applicants must either hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification
  • Or hold the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management from Flinders University or equivalent qualification.

The University may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, consider applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or equivalent but can demonstrate relevant higher education study with relevant work experience, or relevant work experience which may meet the requirements for entry into the course.
