This program provides a learning pathway for public health professionals who wish to advance their skills and knowledge in the area of public health and tropical medicine. The broad range of elective subjects gives the opportunity for specialised focus on tropical Australia, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, or on Australia's tropical neighbours.

Standard entry requirements
- Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a relevant health discipline
- Or eqivalent. Academic performance and relevant work experience is also considered when assessing applications.
Students who successfully complete this course are eligible for entry to the Master of Public Health or Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
