Description The scholarship was established in 2013 by the AMA Queensland Foundation. The AMA Queensland Foundation supports medical students who express an interest in practising medicine within indigenous or rural communities in Queensland for the entirety of their medical training.
Eligibility Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent visa holders; be commencing the second year of the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery; be enrolled full-time; have obtained a GPA of 4.0 or above; and be experiencing financial hardship.
