The scholarship is designed to support recipients whose living situation may hamper their ability to study at Macquarie University and who would benefit from relocation.
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia; be full-time undergraduate students; be enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place; be relocating in order to study; and demonstrate financial hardship. Consideration may be given to applicants who: demonstrate the capacity to triumph over hardship; have a non-English speaking or Indigenous background; have carer responsibilities; demonstrate geographic disadvantage; have a long-term medical condition; or experience on-going effects of abuse.
