Laws and Biomedical Science is a double degree which combines practical knowledge of the Australian legal system with an understanding of anatomy, epidemiology and preventative medicine, genetics, immunology, microbiology and pharmacology for a career in either field, or one which combines the two.
Structure
The Bachelor of Laws course consists of 156 points of study with 17 compulsory units. The remainder of the program consists of Law elective units, including 1 Commercial law elective and 1 Research project elective, selected by the student in order to tailor their course to their interests. The Bachelor of Biomedical Science requires that students complete 96 points of biomedical science units, including 14 compulsory units and 2 elective units.

Recognition
Admission to practise law in Australia only after completion of a practical legal training program or a period of supervised workplace training.
Study pathways
Students may apply to transfer to this degree from another undergraduate course once they have completed the equivalent of one full-time year of study and achieved a minimum overall Distinction (70%) average. Entry to Law courses is a competitive process and the actual average required depends on the number and standard of applications received each year.
