The scholarships are funded by Murdoch University and are awarded on academic merit, research experience and/or potential.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents; be enrolled in, or applying for admission to, full-time internal candidature for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Education (EdD); and have an honours degree (at least upper second-class honours) or equivalent.

Amount $26,682

The scholarship is a tax exempt living allowance of $26,682 per year (2017 RTP rates); a thesis allowance of up to $840 for PhD and EdD students; and, where applicable, a relocation allowance.
