LEBar Crossing for Professional Operators - 0417BARPRO
SEAMEC offers a full day course for commercial skippers who intend to cross any bar to the ocean and wish to return in a safe manner. This course also forms the pre-requisite training for commercial operators wishing to gain a Local Knowledge Endorsement LK8 for the Lakes Entrance Bar Passenger Carrying vessels. Gain confidence in your ability to understand and negotiate any ocean access bar. The course comprises classroom theory, practical on-water demonstrations and introduces interpretation of charts, weather maps, cloud formations and assessment of conditions at a bar or ocean entrance.
