By completing this Combined Bachelor's and Master's course you will graduate with both a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences and a Master of Public Health.In your first three years you will complete the Sport Science, Exercise and Health Extended Major where you will learn to apply theoretical knowledge to develop and deliver exercise-based interventions for fitness, performance, and health and wellbeing. The award-winning work-integrated learning program will provide you with opportunities to integrate theoretical knowledge in real-world professional settings as well as to interact with professionals in the industry. This course is accredited by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA - upon graduation, you will be able to apply for credentialing as an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES). During this time you will also undertake a semester of postgraduate study.You will then complete a final year of postgraduate study in the Master of Public Health which will provide a foundation in the research disciplines of epidemiology, biostatistics, health economics and health promotion, as well as the broader social context in which public health programs are planned, delivered and evaluated.
