Diploma of Nutrition
The Diploma of Nutrition provides foundational knowledge on health science and the role of nutrition in health. Kickstart a career in nutrition by exploring the full spectrum of human anatomy, physiology and chemistry, and how they relate to human nutrition, digestion and metabolism. This online diploma promotes improvements in general health and wellbeing at each life stage and for Indigenous communities at the population level. You'll learn practical skills such as how to apply the Australian Dietary Guidelines and Nutrient Reference Values to dietary assessments and planning. Upon completion, you’ll have the option to begin a fulfilling career or continue studying with the Bachelor of Nutrition.

Structure
Delivered online, the Diploma of Nutrition comprises 8 core subjects, each subject requiring 10 hours of study per week (made up of classes and self-directed study). Assessments may include activity-based assignments or online quizzes.
Entry requirements
- Australian secondary school certificate, or equivalent OR Successful completion of a Vocational qualification (AQF Level 4), or above OR Successful completion of at least 0.5 EFTSL at AQF level 5, 0.25 EFTSL at AQF level 6 or above, or equivalent
