This program is designed to meet the Australian Government's requirements under the National Quality Framework (NQF) for Early Childhood Education and to qualify graduates as four-year trained Early Childhood Teachers.
Structure
192 credit points (equivalent to 32 standard units). The program includes mandatory professional experience (practicum) of 30 to 60 days with 5 or 10 days outside your usual workplace. Students admitted through an articulation program follow a modified program of study.

AQF Level 5 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent, approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
And after satisfying the Diploma requirements either one year full-time (or equivalent) work experience as a room leader or two years full-time (or equivalent) experience as a family day care accredited provider or an early childhood assistant / aide or an accredited before and after school carer
Or admission through an articulation program.
Recognition
This course is accredited with the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) as an approved early childhood teacher qualification.
