This course provides foundation skills in engineering and project management. Core units include project planning, project fi nance, project quality management, risk management, negotiation and contracting, project-based organisational behaviour and complex project coordination. You may take any Engineering specialised stream as a component of a combined degree, provided your ATAR is above or equal to the cut-off for the stream. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to lead project teams across diverse sectors and have the competency to move beyond the role of the technical analyst or engineering specialist to project associate, project specialist (eg. project scheduler, facilitator, cost controller, project risk specialist) and project managerial roles.

- Aeronautical, biomedical, built environment, chemical and biomolecular, civil, civil engineering projects, electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, project management, software, software engineering science.
Standard entry requirements
Year 12 or equivalent. Assumed knowledge: HSC Mathematics Extension 1, Physics. From 2019, this course will require a course prerequisite of Mathematics (Band 4 or higher). The assumed knowledge will still apply.
