The Bachelor of Media Arts is a ground-breaking degree introduced to meet industry demand for creative practitioners with the ability to work and innovate with a range of emerging media technologies.Operating at the intersections of creativity, media and technology, the degree is aimed at students looking to develop creative, practical and adaptable skills for this fast-evolving field. Working in a studio-based learning environment, you will gain hands-on skills, complemented by theoretical studies that encourage critical thinking, contextual awareness and creative problem-solving.You will be taught by accomplished, industry-active media artists, producers and theorists, and you will create your projects in some of the world's best-equipped workshops, labs and studios. The degree features five disciplinary areas, from which you will choose at least two. These are animation, visual effects (digital media), sound, moving image and interactive media.
