They draw on a substantial knowledge of a particular subject, such as the natural or social sciences, engineering, law or other fields. The work involves the development of information and analysis to select and present information on the specialised subject in a form and at a level that is suitable for the intended audience.

Tool and die setters set up and adjust machine tools and production machines, such as automatic lathes or multiple-operation machines.
