This course is designed for people wanting to become safety observers for a plant. Safety observers work in close proximity to overhead and underground services. Participants will acquire OHS and job safety analysis. They will also learn about the role of the spotter and gain an understanding of 'No Go Zones', underground and aboveground utility assets and visible and unseen hazards (electric shock, blind digging and locating power cables).
