ANU Region Scholarship
The Australian National University (ANU)
Up to 7 ANU Region Scholarships are available to school leavers from regional areas around the ACT who are commencing any undergraduate course at ANU.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders; have completed Year 12; have nominated an ANU program as a preference through UAC; achieve an ATAR of at least 90 (or equivalent); and have attended school in an eligible region. Eligible regions are: Highlands; South-Coast; Wollongong; Yass, Goulburn and Queanbeyan; South-West and Western Slopes; and Plains. One scholarship is also offered to a regional Victoria or New Zealand citizen. Selection is based on academic merit and demonstrated involvement and leadership in school and/or community activities, supported by 2 referee reports.
Amount | $6,500 The scholarship is valued at $6,500 per year for up to 5 years. |
