Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents who are pursuing research in one or more of the fields of pure mathematics and/or physical sciences at a Doctor of Philosophy level. Selection is based on merit.
Amount
$27,082
The scholarship is valued at $27,082 (2018 rate) per year for 3 years with a possible 6 month extension. Other benefits include: travel to Canberra from within Australia; reimbursement of some removal expenses; and a thesis reimbursement allowance.
