Indigenous Australian Reconciliation PhD Scholarship

The Australian National University (ANU)

Each year ANU normally offers one scholarship to an indigenous Australian to undertake a PhD.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; be intending to undertake a PhD program; and have a Bachelor degree with at least a second upper-class honours or a relevant Master degree from a recognised University.

Amount $27,596

The scholarship is valued at $27,596 per year for 3 years. Other benefits include: travel to Canberra from within Australia; reimbursement of some removal expenses; and a thesis reimbursement allowance.
