Liu Ts'un-Yan and Liu Chiang Szu-Yang Scholarship
The Australian National University (ANU)
The scholarship will be awarded to outstanding Chinese Studies students from Australian universities who seek admission to the ANU Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies with Honours.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; hold a bachelor degree from an Australian university with at least a distinction average in relevant courses; demonstrate advanced proficiency in modern and classical Chinese equivalent to the completion of ANU's Chinese language major (the language requirement may be waived in exceptional circumstances); be seeking admission to the ANU Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies with Honours; and be intending to undertake research on a suitable topic in Traditional Chinese Studies. Selection is based on academic merit and thesis proposal. Preference will be given to applicants who are using Classical Chinese language sources in their research.
