Phillipa Weeks Scholarship in Law

The scholarship was created in memory of Phillipa Christine Weeks for students undertaking study towards the Bachelor of Laws.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be in the first year of a program of study leading to the award of Bachelor of Laws; have attended secondary school in a regional or remote area of Australia; have completed school in the last 12 months; and not have been previously enrolled in any tertiary degree or diploma program at a university or other institution of tertiary education whether in or outside Australia. Selection is based on: academic performance over the final 2 years of school; leadership qualities and achievements; and contribution to the community.

Amount $5,000

The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per year for up to 5 years.
