GWV Scholarship
Australian Women Graduates
The GWV Scholarship will be offered to a female PhD student enrolled at a Victorian university
Eligibility
Applicants must: be female; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; normally be resident in Victoria; be enrolled in a PhD; and be enrolled at a Victorian university in any field of study. Winners are expected to attend the presentation day and give a brief presentation on their studies. Applicants must also demonstrate to GWV's satisfaction that they have been or are overcoming significant disadvantage in pursuing their studies. Significant disadvantage may include: financial difficulty or low income; English as a second language; migrant or refugee status; disability or medical condition; identification as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; delay or interruption to career or studies because of family responsibilities or illness or; geographical location. Applicants must demonstrate that their studies and career plans further the aims of GWV.
