This qualification is part of the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package. It reflects the role of practitioners working at a pre-professional level beginning to develop their artistic voice and command of techniques in a range of art forms. Practice at this level is underpinned by the application of broad and integrated technical and theoretical knowledge and the ability to analyse and use information from a range of sources.

Our Lilydale Lakeside Campus operates a Tech School, an e-learning centre, a business incubator, a childcare centre, conference facilities, and accommodation. Other campus facilities include cafeterias, student lounges, childcare services and libraries. We offer a number of student services, including employment assistance, counselling and a disability liaison service, and support for Indigenous students. We also offer specific literacy and numeracy support to provide eligible students with help to complete their course. This support focuses on workplace reading, writing, numeracy (maths) and communication skills.
