Carrathool Shire Council Scholarship

Carrathool Shire consists of the town of Hillston and the surrounding villages of Goolgowi, Merriwagga, Rankins Springs and Carrathool. The Shire boasts 2 rivers, 2 National Parks and a booming agricultural industry. This scholarship supports residents of the Carrathool Local Government Area in their university studies.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be enrolled in any year of any course at Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga campus; reside within the Carrathool Local Government Area (supporting documentation to be provided). Preference may be given to applicants who express a desire to return to the Shire at the completion of their studies. Selection is based on sound academic record, community / regional involvement, career goals and aspirations.

Amount $3,000

The scholarship is valued at $3,000, paid in 2 equal instalments of $1,500 for 1 year. Applications close for both Commencing and Continuing students on 3 Feb, 2019.
