The Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences will equip students with practical skills and provide the opportunity to explore exercise physiology, bio-mechanics, motor control, exercise and sport psychology, and anatomy. Students will also benefit from a mix of theory and hands-on laboratory experience, enabling them to graduate work ready, with skills highly desired by employers in the sports, fitness and health industry.

Recognition
Graduates who complete the ESSA Accredited stream are eligible to gain accreditation in Exercise Science with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Study pathways
Exit award: Diploma of Health Science. This course may also be a suitable pathway into further study in exercise and sport science, physiotherapy, medicine and nutrition. Students interested in teaching physical education at secondary schools may choose to go on to complete the Master of Teaching (Secondary).

Students are required to attend compulsory residential schools. Students completing the course online will also be required to attend compulsory residential schools. Across the three year course students will also complete up to 240 hours of Work Integrated Learning. Recommended study: English, Mathematics, Biology, Physical Education.
